COMMUNICATION AND PRO-SOCIAL MODELLING FOR COMMUNITY PAYBACK

Those members of staff working in Community Payback often spend the most face-to-face time with offenders. How they engage with others can therefore have a huge impact on compliance and change. This training seeks to equip Community Payback staff with key, practical skills for building good relationships with offenders.
By the end of this course you will be able to:

Apply pro-social modelling techniques in the context of your work.
Identify some of the key components of effective communication with others.
Apply techniques for effective communication in the context of your work.
