SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS ADMINISTRATOR TRAINING

Half Day Event

All practitioners working in rehabilitation services should have access to multi-agency Safeguarding children training provided by their local authority.  In addition to this, you are also required to attend training provided by your own agency in this vital area of practice knowledge.  This course is aimed at administrative staff who still require a grounding in safeguarding practice but would not benefit from the 1 day course.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Recognise what constitutes child abuse and how to identify it in the administrative role.

  • Consider good practice in the procedures for Safeguarding and Promoting the Welfare of Children.

  • Identify how we all contribute to safeguarding children.

  • Identify key considerations in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.

This 3.5 hour course is aimed at administrative staff working in rehabilitation services.
