If you are a probation practitioner who is working with domestic abuse perpetrators, completing a SARA assessment to support your full risk analysis can be a beneficial way of focusing on the key risk issues in an abusive relationship.  SARA is a nationally recognised assessment tool.  If your organisation is still using version 2, this session will guide you through the rationale behind the tool and how to use it.  The course will allow you to learn how to complete SARA effectively with a fictional case study before you will take part in a group video feedback session to cement your learning and share good practice with others.  This practical approach to learning will give you confidence in using the tool back in the work place.

In order to access this course, you will need a laptop or desktop computer with access to the web and the ability to watch videos.  You will also need to access the zoom meetings app but instructions will be given by your trainer on how to do this.
